In July of 2023, Xsolla employees literally revved up their engines and took off at full speed to celebrate the company's 18th birthday in style. 

For the leading video game e-commerce company, there's nothing like a little competition to level up a celebration. So it was only fitting for colleagues across the globe to take a step back from their desks and mark nearly two decades of success in go-karts. 

With a nod to the recent Mario movie release, Xsolla employees from the US, Germany, Korea, and beyond donned helmets and put the pedal to the metal on race tracks worldwide. The celebrations also provided space to reflect on the past and the strides the company has made. 

Since first entering the video game industry in 2005, Xsolla has worked tirelessly to provide the most robust tools and services for developers and publishers to promote, distribute, and optimize revenue streams for their video games. 

Xsolla founder, Shurick Agapitov, built the company out of love for the gaming community. He knew that by combining advanced technology and savvy business acumen, he could develop products and solutions to save developers time and money and foster player engagement on a global scale. 

Eighteen years later, Agapitov has more than accomplished his goal. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Xsolla is now a global powerhouse with offices spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. 

The company has expanded its offerings since releasing its flagship product, Pay Station, with a catalog of over 20 solutions and counting, partnerships with over 1000+ game developers and a successful track of helping monetize over 2,500 games on mobile, PC, and the web.
